LUMPY breezes to a Game 1 win, then drops a tight Game 2. The deciding game goes to 16-16, when a service error ends the game and the season for ASB-Sideout. LUMPY will take it. Survive and advance. |

For a "20-year" veteran ref, this is the worst ref LUMPY has ever met. To be fair, LUMPY is soundly beaten in both games -- but come on! Anyway, LUMPY makes a decent playoff showing to somewhat obviate a disappointing regular season. Just like last year. |

For those of you keeping score at home, NIGEL is outpointed, 54-65, but takes 2 of 3 games. Thus the reason for the, you know, rage and ... what was that other thing ... oh yeah, regret. |
